In summer 2026, ForMiners invited clients to consider Pearl mining with ready GPU rigs. By 1 October, PRL was approximately 2.12 times its 28 June reference price, while comparable miners cost €2,000 more according to the company’s current information. Early participants had an opportunity to acquire hardware at a lower price and accumulate coins before the autumn recovery. The route included a substantial drawdown, however. This review separates the documented offer, market performance and the economics of an individual customer.
The starting point: our 28 June posts
On 28 June 2026, ForMiners published a PEARLMINER offer on Instagram: eight RTX 5060 Ti GPUs, approximately 900 W consumption, a €3,990 price and an estimated output of around 30 PRL per day. A second post that day showed Pearl GPU mining and offered open and enclosed rigs starting at €2,000. These were different offers; the entry price for the range must not be substituted for the eight-card system price.
The original card also advertised approximately 800 MH/s on PearlHash and hosting availability. These are historical seller specifications, not a current benchmark. Hashrate units and measurement methods require verification against the actual miner software and pool. The daily output estimate described conditions at publication, not a verified production record for the following months.

Price history: a 112.3% gain with a difficult summer
The chart uses one consistent source: CoinGecko’s API, coin ID pearl-2, for Pearl associated with pearlresearch.ai. The 28 June observation at 00:00 UTC was $0.5791. The 1 October 2026 snapshot at 12:15:50 UTC was $1.2293, a rise of 112.3%. This is a change in a coin quotation, not a return on buying mining equipment.
The daily series fell to $0.2302 on 23 July, about 60.3% below the June reference. It recorded $0.3097 on 1 September and $1.5344 on 28 September. The latest snapshot was about 19.9% below that September daily observation. All 97 observations in the selected period are plotted: daily values at 00:00 UTC plus the latest intraday point. These are not daily closing prices or intraday highs; actual trading swings may have been larger.

What improved for early clients
Three separate components matter: the equipment purchase price, coins actually produced and the sale price or current valuation of retained coins. ForMiners reports that the same miners are now quoted €2,000 above the summer offer. Applied to the €3,990 configuration, that implies approximately €5,990, or a 50.1% increase in the offer price. Tax treatment, specification and delivery terms must be comparable.
We regard this as a successful case for clients who backed the idea. Nevertheless, a higher new-equipment quotation is not a realised resale profit on used hardware. PRL appreciation increased the market valuation of retained coins, but realised results depend on pool payments, costs and sale dates. The public posts do not provide complete customer accounts, so this article does not claim a specific ROI or payback period. Multiplying the June estimate of 30 PRL by every subsequent operating day would be misleading.
Pearl’s potential at the intersection of GPUs and AI
Pearl’s Proof of Useful Work concept seeks to connect proofs of matrix computation with blockchain security and AI workloads. On 15 May 2026, Together AI announced a partnership with Pearl Research Labs and a Gemma inference offering discounted by more than 25%, attributing the economics to PRL emissions. That is a specific announced integration, not evidence that every independent mining rig serves paid AI requests.
The opportunity depends on genuine compute demand, adoption and sustainable token economics. A June 2026 arXiv study identified a gap between useful computation being possible and being mandatory in the observed protocol. That is the researchers’ assessment of the implementation they studied, not a final judgment on every later version. Hardware owners still need measurable payouts and realistically available alternative workloads.
Risks then and now
The chart makes price risk tangible: an approximately 60% decline from the chosen summer reference occurred before the recovery. Greater network competition can also reduce a rig’s share of rewards. Reward schedules, software efficiency, pool fees and compatibility requirements can change. Accepted shares and actual payouts are more useful for comparing software versions than an isolated speed display.
Electricity, cooling, hosting, downtime, repairs and conversion fees affect the result. As an illustration, 900 W running continuously consumes 21.6 kWh daily, costing €2.16 at an assumed €0.10/kWh, before additional loads and services. An exchange quotation does not guarantee liquidation of an entire balance at that price: spreads, depth and withdrawals matter. GPU prices can fall too, and another compute use requires a separate compatibility and demand assessment.
What ForMiners offers today
We offer Pearl-oriented GPU solutions, including enclosed rack-format rigs and open configurations, with equipment selection, preparation and hosting discussed individually. The summer price and output estimate are not automatically carried into a new proposal. Current terms are prepared for the specific configuration and site.
Send your budget, preferred enclosure, deployment location and electricity tariff. We will clarify GPU model and memory, power and cooling, software compatibility, delivery and warranty. A useful comparison includes a weaker scenario with lower PRL prices, reduced output and downtime. A successful earlier case is a reason to examine the opportunity carefully, not to skip today’s operating calculation.
A documented opportunity, assessed at today’s conditions
Our posts establish the summer offer, the market series establishes the price move, and the equipment increase is current ForMiners information. None replaces an individual customer’s income and cost records. Contact ForMiners about a rack-format Pearl rig or hosting and request an updated calculation rather than a promise to repeat the past.
